A Healing Story So Powerful
 It Was Removed (Then Reinstated)

Censored. Then Reinstated. Why Carrie’s Healing Story Struck a Nerve.

Hi Reader,

What happens when someone shares a true story about healing outside the medical mainstream?

Sometimes
 it gets taken down.

Last night, I released a deeply personal episode of the Green Living Now Podcast with Carrie De Grandmont, a childhood cancer survivor and passionate advocate for toxin-free, holistic living.

In it, she shared:

  • Her cancer journey and why she turned to organic food and clean living
  • How her son’s health collapsed after returning to the Standard American Diet (and then recovered)
  • A devastating memory of a girl down the hall who died from chemotherapy-induced heart failure

🎧 The story was powerful. Eye-opening. Real.
And then
 YouTube removed the episode.

They claimed it violated community guidelines—despite the fact that everything Carrie shared was based on her lived experience, and medically recognized risks.

đŸ©ș Here’s What the Science Says:

Yes, certain chemotherapy drugs—especially anthracyclines like doxorubicin—are known to cause cardiotoxicity.
This can lead to heart failure, especially at higher cumulative doses, and it can even occur years after treatment.
This is well-documented in clinical studies and acknowledged by organizations like the Cleveland Clinic.

Carrie’s truth? It’s not misinformation.
It’s just inconvenient.

🔁 UPDATE: The Episode Is Back

I "appealed" (but there was no place to ask questions or write them anything, I just clicked the "appeal" button.)
After a few minutes of silence, YouTube reinstated the episode—no explanation, no apology.

But it’s back.
And I believe that happened because we need to keep having these conversations.
Because healing doesn’t always follow a straight line—or a mainstream script.
